It is a device designed to be installed in electrical switchboards. Due to its compact design and reduced cost, it can be an excellent alternative in replacing analogue indicators or in the IEC 61850 version for application in Substations, Power Generation Plants in Smart Grid systems via MMS and GOOSE standard. Its main purpose is to record and display more than 25 electrical quantities, such as voltage, current, neutral current, power, energy, frequency, among others. The large graphic display of 3.5 inches TFT LCD Touch Screen with 480×320 Pixels RGB, allows a good reading, even at greater distances. In addition to having communications* GSM 4G/3G/2G Quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz with integrated GPS (L1 C/A code) of 22 tracking/66 acquisitions – channel, WiFi 2.4GHz/5GHz IEEE 802.11.b/ g/n/ac and Bluetooth. The EMETER PWM735570 offers an integrated ModBus RTU/TCP (RS485) optoisolated communication port, with support for SD Card up to 128 GB, USB 2.0, internal memory of 1GB LPDDR2 SDRAM, HDMI interface and Gigabit Ethernet.
The EMETER PWM735570-PMU version has the PMU (Phasor Measurement Unit) function that performs current and voltage measurements by amplitude and phase in substations. High-precision time synchronization (via built-in GPS), allows comparing measured values (synchrophasors) from different distant substations and drawing conclusions regarding system status and dynamic events such as conditions such as: power swings, short-term voltage variations , recording of fault currents, etc.
Our multimeter acts as a “Phasor Measurement Unit” and monitors power quality, determining current and voltage phasors, providing accurate analysis of electrical power disturbance events and transmitting in real time analysis along with other measured values (frequency, speed of frequency change), using the IEEE C37.118 communication protocol, via the built-in RJ45 Ethernet ports with redundancy (WiFi, 3G and 4G cellular communication), sent to the control and operations center of the electrical system.

As all measured results are stored, power system disturbances can be readily analyzed.
